Biographical Information[edit]

Manuel García played in the minor leagues and CPBL.

García began his professional career with the Texas Rangers, and he hit .280/.319/.365 in 56 games in his first season for the GCL Rangers in 1988. He had a .280/.319/.365 batting line for the Butte Copper Kings in 1989, and he hit .211/.294/.329 for the Utica Blue Sox in 1990. Garcia moved to the Baltimore Orioles in 1991, and his batting line was .269/.305/.391 for the Kane County Cougars. He was 4-for-40 with the Visalia Oaks in 1995, and he hit .308/.359/.489 with 8 homers for the Catskill Cougars in 1996. Garcia then recorded a .262/.300/.351 batting line with the Cougars in 1997, and he also batted .298/.323/.394 for the Bangor Blue Ox in 28 games. The Chinatrust Whales signed him in 1998, and Garcia hit .306/.306/.583 in 17 games. He then went 1-for-10 for the Newark Bears in 1999, and his professional career ended.
