MGM Park, in Biloxi, MS, is the home of the Biloxi Shuckers, the Milwaukee Brewers' Double-A Southern League farm team. BP oil-spill settlement money provided almost half of the funding.

MGM Resorts International's Beau Rivage casino leased the land to the city for $1 a year in exchange for two considerations: a city-built parking garage for BR employees who had used the land as a parking lot, and the right to name the resulting stadium. So why "MGM" rather than "Beau Rivage" Park? To avoid tying gambling to baseball.

Its history hasn't been as idyllic as its setting. A contracting soap opera pushed the former Huntsville Stars' 2015 move nearly halfway into the season, and the certificate of occupancy was issued on the very day of the first game. There have also been disputes over revenue from signage and non-Shucker events.

Nor has the facility fully produced the expected income to the city. The Beau Rivage announced in May 2023 it will give the city gain two additional income streams by turning over both the stadium naming rights and the parking garage to the city.[1]
