Biographical Information[edit]

Luke November has been on the South African national team. He is the brother of Josh November. [1]

In the 2017 U-18 Baseball World Cup, he was 0 for 10 with two walks and a run and allowed two runs in one inning. Mostly playing third base, he fielded .750. [2] He allowed two runs (one earned) in 2 1/3 IP in the 2019 U-18 Baseball World Cup, was 1 for 19 with a RBI and fielded .750 as a 3B/C/2B. He tied teammate Kian Schwartz for the error lead with five. [3] Going to the US for a year of college, he batted .357/.375/.517 for Dordt University in 2022.

He was 2 for 15 with a walk in the 2022 U-23 Baseball World Cup, yielding six runs (three earned) in 2/3 of an inning and handling 9 chances error-free at catcher. [4] At the 2024 U-23 Baseball World Cup, he showed good strides at .368/.478/.474, fielding .941. He led South Africa in hits, average, OBP and OPS. [5] Debuting for the senior national team in the 2026 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers, he replaced Tyrone Milne at catcher in their loss to host Taiwan. He grounded out against Yu-Cheng Wu. He got into their last game as well, versus Spain, batting for Anthony Phillips and grounding out versus Jorge Balboa. [6]
