Biographical Information[edit]
Josh November has been on the South African national team. He is the brother of Luke November. [1]
In the 2022 U-18 Baseball World Cup, he was the starter at second for his team and also played short, third and pitched. He hit .278/.381/.333, fielded .955 and allowed one run in 1/3 IP, losing to Brazil. He had their lone hit in their loss to Australia. He led them in average and tied for the most hits (5). [2] He hit .300/.481/.300 in the 2024 U-23 Baseball World Cup, joining his brother Luke on the team. He handled 22 chances error-free in the middle infield and drew 7 walks in 8 games. He tied Carlos Arroyo for 5th in walks and had the best OBP among his team's regulars despite being one of their younger players. [3]
Making his senior national team debut in the 2026 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers, he played in all three games but only had one plate appearance. He debuted as a pinch-runner for Dayle Feldtman in a 2-1 loss to Nicaragua. His lone time up, he batted for Brandon Bouillon and struck out against Taiwan's Yu-Cheng Wu. [4]
