Tyrone Milne has played for the South African national team.

Milne hit .333/.500/.429 with seven walks, seven runs and four steals (not caught) in eight games in the 2015 U-18 Baseball World Cup, fielding .889 (mainly at catcher). He tied Morgan McCullough for 5th in the event in walks, tied for third in steals and made the top ten in OBP while leading South Africa's offense. He tied for 10th in errors (3) and was 4th in steals allowed (11). [1] He hit .388/.557/.551 for the Deggendorf Dragons in the German minors in 2016. [2] He made it to South Africa's senior national team for the 2023 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers. Hitting 6th in their opener, he grounded out against Spain's Ronald Medrano. Things picked up from there as he singled the next time then drew a walk from Daniel Álvarez (scoring South Africa's first run on a Victor Ngoepe grounder) and singled off former major leaguer Vicente Campos his last time up. He finished at .429/.556/.529 with one run in South Africa's two games. He tied Dayle Feldtman, Jonathan Phillips and Benjamin Smith for the team lead in hits (3), tied Smith for second in average behind Feldtman and was second to Feldtman in OBP. [3]
