Biographical Information[edit]
Luis González was 0-1 with a 1.35 ERA for the Panamanian national team in the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games. He led the team with three appearances and tied future major leaguer Alberto Baldonado for their most Ks. (7). He took the loss against Delio Martinez and Venezuela. In the 7th/8th place game, he closed out a 5-0 win over Guatemala, relieving Samuel Ruiz and fanning four in two shutout innings (2 H, 0 BB). He tied for 9th in the Games in strikeouts. He was not the only Luis González in those Games as Puerto Rico had an outfielder Luis González.
