Biographical Information[edit]
Lionel Bragan scouted for the Cincinnati Reds. He is credited with signing Lee May.[1]
He had signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates to play professionally, but was drafted to serve in World War II, derailing his playing career. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Relatives include Bobby Bragan, Jim Bragan, Peter Bragan Sr., Frank Bragan and Peter Bragan, Jr.
