Biographical Information[edit]
The son of Walter Mueller, brother of Don Mueller and uncle of Mark Mueller, shortstop Leroy Mueller played two years of minor league ball in the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees organizations. He split 1947 between the Milford Red Sox (.205, .268 SLG in 28 G) and Grand Forks Chiefs (.202/?/.275 in 67 G). In 1948, he hit was 8 for 48 with a double for Grand Forks and batted .206 with a .256 slugging for the Greenville Bucks.
