Biographical Information[edit]
Leandro Juárez was a pitcher for the Argentinian national team in the 2010 South American Games (the team won Bronze) and the 2010 Pan American Games Qualification Tournament (0-1, 5.40). He was with Argentina for a Gold in the 2013 South American Championship and played for them in the 2015 South American Championship. He had a strong start in his lone outing in the 2016 South American Championship, as Argentina won the Silver. He went the distance in a five-inning mercy rule win over Bolivia (3 H, 1 R, 8 K, 0 BB). He tied Ezequiel Cuifre and Randy Consuegra for second in the round-robin phase in Ks, 7 behind Miguel Puello and was 9th in opponent average (.158).
