Biographical Information

Larry White, through 2012, is the most recent major leaguer to come from San Francisco State University. He pitched two seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers, both years with good ERA's.

He was the same age as Orel Hershiser (the two were born nine days apart), with whom he also pitched with the Albuquerque Dukes.

He came to the Dodgers organization in the trade that sent Rick Sutcliffe to the Cleveland Indians.
