Biographical Information

Submariner Kuo-Cheng Chiu pitched in the CPBL for 3 years.

Chiu was drafted by the Chinatrust Whales in the 4th round of the 2000 CPBL Draft, and he had a 3.00 ERA in 2 appearances in his rookie year. He pitched 12 games with a 3.93 ERA in 2001, but his ERA rose to 9.64 in 8 games in 2002. Chiu announced his retirement after the 2002 season.

Overall, Chiu was 0-1 with a 5.58 ERA, pitched 30 2/3 innings and struck out 22 in 3 seasons in the CPBL.
