Biographical Information[edit]
Ken Wiebe was an infielder for Team Canada. He hit .118/.268/.206 with 3 runs and 4 RBI in 10 games in the 1978 Amateur World Series but led Canada with 3 doubles and was second in RBI (5 behind Mike Teahen). He fielded .923 in 5 games at 2B (which he split with Michel Labossiere) and also played 3 games apiece at 3B (backing up Ted Springenatic, .750 FLD) and SS (3 PO, 7 A, 0 E, backing up Brian Mactaggart). He was with Canada for the 1979 Pan American Games as well.
He was not related to the Toronto Sun writer of the same name.
