Biographical Information

Ken Gaylord has been a college coach. His sons Adam Gaylord and Brian Gaylord both played briefly in the minors.

Ken hit .380 as a college freshman at Cerritos to win All-Conference and .379 as a sophomore. The first baseman moved on to UCLA. He was assistant at Mayfair High School in 1977 and at UCLA from 1978-1984. From 1985-1990, he was 137-99 at the reigns of Long Beach City College. He has guided Cerritos College from 1992-2002, 2004-2009 and 2011-2018, with a 647-406-4 record.
