Biographical Information[edit]
De La Cruz was signed by scout Johnny Martinez for the Cleveland Indians in 2004. He made his pro debut with the DSL Indians 1 in 2005.
In June of 2007, De La Cruz, Daniel Frega and Vinnie Pestano threw a combined no-hitter for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers over the Vermont Lake Monsters in the second game of a doubleheader.
