Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Keith Morrison was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 35th round of the 1988 amateur draft but did not sign, opting to attend Middle Georgia College instead. He was then taken by the Atlanta Braves in the 38th round of the 1989 amateur draft. He made his pro debut in 1990, going 6-6 with a 4.10 ERA in 13 starts for the Pulaski Braves. In June 1991, he was traded to the Montreal Expos as a player to be named later in the deal that brought Otis Nixon to Atlanta. He moved on to the California Angels organization in 1993 and pitched three years in their organization, reaching the AAA level with the Vancouver Canadians.
