Katsuhiro Nishizawa has pitched for the Peruvian national team.
He debuted in the 2016 South American Championship, relieving Andrés Hamamoto with a 14-2 lead over Bolivia in the 6th. He pitched 1/3 of an inning and gave up two walks and two runs (both earned) while fanning none. Diego Uezu took over for him.
Nishizawa struggled in the 2017 Bolivarian Games, going 2/3 of an inning over three games and allowing four hits, a walk and five runs (all earned). He had the highest ERA in the event at 67.50; teammate Kevin Yamamoto was next at 47.25
