Biographical Information

Juvenal Lara was a minor league player for a couple years. He hit .228/.343/.298 in 25 games for the 2007 DSL Rangers, with 8 passed balls in 20 games as their #2 catcher. In 2008, he batted .229/.346/.269 in 56 games for the DSL Rangers 1 and DSL Rangers 2; he fielded .977 with 18 passed balls in 26 games at C and fielded .968 in 22 games at 1B. He played for the Venezuelan national team that won Silver in the 2009 Bolivarian Games and Gold in the 2010 South American Games.[
