Biographical Information

Justin Thompson managed the Salina Stockade to a 29-36 record in 2016 and the Monterey Amberjacks to an 18-43 mark in 2017. He pitched a single game for the Amberjacks in 2017, giving up 5 earned runs in 2/3 of an inning in relief. He was set to return to manage the Amberjacks in 2018, but that did not occur. He had previously worked as an assistant coach for the Las Vegas Train Robbers and Houston Apollos in the Pecos Spring League.

His biographies claim he was drafted "multiple times," including by the Cincinnati Reds in 2006, though there is little evidence to support those claims.
