Julio Toyonaga
Julio Toyonaga was a pitcher in Brazil. He helped Brazil tie for first in the 1959 South American Championship and win Silver at the 1963 South American Championship. In the 1963 Pan American Games, he was the winning hurler in a major upset over Silver Medal winner Team USA (Brazil was 1-6 in their other games), helping his own cause with a 10th-inning triple off Barry Bruckner then scoring the winner on a wild pitch. He was considered the "Pele of baseball" in Brazil.
