Biographical Information

Julien Muyldermans has played in the First Division and for the Belgian national team.

He was 0 for 5 for the MSG Phoenix in 2019, debuting at age 15. In 2021, he hit .192/.364/.192 in Belgium. He was 0 for 4 with 3 walks and a run in the 2021 U23 European Championship. During '22, he improved to .349/.474/.556 and tied for fifth with four triples.

In the 2022 U18 European Championship, he struck out in both of his at-bats. During the 2023 Belgian season, he was at .252/.457/.336 with 30 walks and 33 runs in 33 games. He was 4th in triples (3) and tied Lino Ballardini for 3rd in walks. That year during the U23 European Championship, he hit .333/.375/.333 and fielded .857 as a regular at short for Belgium. He wrapped up the year making it to Belgium's senior team, for the 2023 European Championship. He played one game, starting at short against Israel. He drew a Matt Soren walk his first time up then was retired twice by Aviv Bobrov. He drew a walk from Benny Wanger and came around to score. He was lifted for PH Robin Roevens in the 9th, down 11-8 with two men aboard and two outs.
