Biographical Information[edit]
Robin Roevens has played for the Belgian national team.
Roevens debuted in the First Division as a 15-year-old, hitting .261/.292/.283 as a bench player for the 2010 Antwerp Royal Greys. In 2011, he batted .333/.429/.411 with 29 runs in 36 games while going 0-1 with a 7.04 ERA. He led the league in assists (115) and was third with 21 errors. In the 2011 European Junior Championship, he produced at a .348/.407/.435 clip with 6 RBI in 6 games and went 1-1 with a 1.29 ERA, losing to the Ukraine and beating Lithuania. He was 5th in the tournament in ERA.
In 2012, Robin slumped to .290/.347/.327 for the Greys while allowing six runs in 4 2/3 IP. At age 17, he made the Belgium squad for the 2012 European Championship, going 1 for 5 with a walk, run and three strikeouts, while having two assists in the field.
