Biographical Information[edit]

Juan Crousset played as high as AA and was on the Dominican national team.

He was signed by Colorado Rockies scouts Rolando Fernandez and Felix Feliz in July 2006. [1] He hit .176/.245/.222 for the 2007 DSL Rockies, fanning in 51 of 176 at-bats. Returning to the same club in 2008, he improved significantly, to .321/.376/.444 with 16 steals in 20 tries and 42 RBI in 64 games. He led the team in homers, RBI and slugging.

Moving to the US for 2009, he hit .288/.323/.339 for the Casper Ghosts while battling injury. [2] He posted a .271/.303/.391 batting line for the same club in 2010. With the '11 Tri-City Dust Devils, he hit .243/.272/.402 as a backup corner outfielder. In 2012, he played for the Modesto Nuts (.290/.346/.474 in 79 G) and Tulsa Drillers (.235/.316/.294 in 7 G), homering ten times in 86 games between the two stops, with 54 runs and 51 RBI.

He also split 2013 between Modesto (.238/.279/.328 in 52 G) and Tulsa (.262/.289/.381 in 12 G). His time in the Rockies chain over, he was the Dominican DH in the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games, with 3-RBI games versus both Panama and Venezuela. He hit .286/.286/.572, not driving in runs in his other three games. He led the Bronze Medalists in RBI, one ahead of MLB vet Pedro Feliz and Victor Mercedes. He was third in the Games in RBI, trailing Cubans Yadiel Hernández and Yuli Gurriel. [3]

Crousset hit .200/.267/.291 for the Dominican team in the 2017 Canadian-American Association to wrap up his pro career at .263/.313/.382 in 381 games.
