Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Juan Ciriaco began his professional career in 2009. He is the cousin of Pedro Ciriaco, Audy Ciriaco and Moises Ciriaco and brother or cousin of Juan Aneuris Ciriaco.
He was signed by the Colorado Rockies on July 2, 2009 and hit .303 with a .405 on-base percentage in 35 games for the DSL Rockies that year. The next season, he swiped 34 bases in 59 games for the DSL club. After a down year in 2011, Ciriaco stole 15 bases in 56 games for the Grand Junction Rockies in 2012 and had a breakout year in 2013, hitting .279/.319/.355 with 50 stolen bases in 100 games for the Asheville Tourists. In 2014, he hit .283/.306/.364 with 24 steals in 81 games for the Modesto Nuts.
