Biographical Information[edit]

Juan Ciriaco began his minor league career in 2003 in the San Diego Padres minor league system and stayed with the Padres through the 2007 season when he was lost in the minor league portion of the 2007 Rule V Draft. He then moved to the San Francisco Giants organization and played there for the next decade. Ciriaco played at the AAA level for multiple seasons, but never received a call to the major leagues. Over the course of his career, he hit .251/.300/.363 while playing in over 1,000 games. Ciriaco was primarily a middle infielder, though he did play defensively at all the infield and outfield positions.

After retiring as a player, Ciriaco stayed with the Giants as a minor league coach and manager. He served as a fundamentals coach with the San Jose Giants in 2018 and the AZL Giants Black in 2019. He was slated for his first managerial role in 2020 with the DSL Giants before COVID-19 forced the cancellation of the minor league system. In 2021 he managed the DSL Giants Orange and he led the DSL Giants Black team in 2022-2023.

He is the cousin of Pedro Ciriaco, Audy Ciriaco and Moises Ciriaco and either brother or cousin of Juan Manuel Ciriaco.
