The middle infielder trailed only Grant McCray among Giants farmhands in swipes; he was 6th in the California League with 29.
In the 2023 Pan American Games, he debuted against Cuba, hitting 9th at DH. He grounded out against Yoennis Yera his first time up. He came up big in the semifinals against Panama, scoring the tying run in the 6th as a pinch-runner for Carlos Arroyo. That proved big when they won 2-1. Brazil went on to the title game, where they beat Brazil. Ramos's single off Daniel Missaki that day was his lone hit of the event as he finished 1-for-8 with 3 walks and 2 runs, fielding .875 as Colombia won their baseball Gold in a Pan American Games. [2]
