José Roberto Medina Rivas

Biographical Information[edit]

José Medina has been on the Salvadoran national team.

He was 3 for 21 with a double and a team-high three RBI in the 2017 Bolivarian Games, their first Bolivarian Games. He handled 56 chances error-free, presumably playing first base primarily. [1] In the 2017 Central American Games, he was 3 for 14 with 9 walks and a hit-by-pitch for a .542 OBP, probably 5th in the event. He led the tournament in walks, two ahead of Ibrahim McKenzie. In the Bronze Medal Game, he was retired by Guatemala's Alejandro Amezquita before a rain-out led to both teams getting Bronzes. [2]
