Biographical Information

Jorge Pastor was a 1B/C/DH for the Peruvian national team in the 2013 Bolivarian Games, going 4 for 16 with a walk, steal, two runs and six RBI while fielding .939. He easily led the team in RBI as no one else had more than two for Peru. He tied for third on the club in hits, one behind Seiko Hayashida and Gilberto Hernández. He was with Peru when they finished third in the 2012 South American Championship. He was with Peru during the 2015 South American Championship, when they won Bronze. He hit .231/.231/.346 in the 2016 South American Championship, playing error-free ball at catcher and allowing six steals in eight tries. Hitting clean-up, he had one run and three RBI in seven games.

He was 0 for 11 with two walks and five strikeouts in the 2017 Bolivarian Games, but threw out four of eight runners who tried to steal.
