Biographical Information

Pitcher Jonathan Joseph has played in the Oakland Athletics minor league system since 2006 (through 2014). He was signed by scout Amaurys Reyes as a non-drafted free agent on June 15, 2006.

Despite playing in the minor leagues for nine seasons, he has never pitched above High-A. He played for the DSL Athletics 1 in 2006 and 2007, the Rookie level AZL Athletics in 2007 and 2008 and the DSL Athletics 2 in 2008, the Low-A Vancouver Canadians in 2009 and 2010, the Single-A Kane County Cougars in 2010, the Single-A Burlington Bees in 2011 and 2012 and the High-A Stockton Ports since 2012 (through 2014).

His ERA has exceeded 4 each year except for 2006 (3.53), 2010 (3.05) and 2013 (3.50).
