Biographical Information[edit]

John Hooper played in the minor leagues from 1946 to 1948, hitting .287 with 15 home runs and 221 hits in 225 games. With the Victoria Athletics in 1947, he hit .348 with 27 doubles, 12 triples and 15 home runs in 134 games.

He is the son of Hall of Famer Harry Hooper.

He served in the Marine Corps during World War II and Korean War.
