Biographical Information

Joe Stewart pitched a couple games in the majors and had considerable success in the minors. In 1902, split between two teams in the Southern Association, he was 25-8. Then he went 16-10 with the 1903 St. Paul Saints. In 1906, he was 19-11 in the Ohio-Pennsylvania League.

Joe was at Erskine College at the same time as Champ Osteen.

He died young when he fell out of a window. [1]
