Biographical Information

Jiahong Mi has pitched in the minors and for the Chinese national team.

He had a 8.42 ERA for the 2019 Texas AirHogs, walking 23 in 25 2/3 IP. He pitched briefly when China won Bronze in the 2019 Asian Championship. Against Japan, he closed out a 11-1 loss, relieving Yang Sang and allowing a hit to Hiroto Kobukata before retiring Shohei Morishita. Versus Taiwan, he again got the final two batters in a loss (10-2), relieving Sang again. He hit Yu-Cheng Chang then struck out Chien-Ming Chiang.
