García was signed by Minnesota Twins scout José León. [1] He was 3-0 with a 2.31 ERA for the 2008 DSL Twins, with 13 strikeouts to one walk in 11 2/3 IP. Making his Venezuelan League debut that winter, he allowed seven hits and five runs (four earned) in two innings for the Tigres de Aragua. He split 2009 between the Elizabethton Twins (1-1, 4.15 in 4 G) and GCL Twins (2-3, 2.13 in 7 G). He walked only five in 51 innings. That winter, he was 1-1 with a 4.91 ERA for the Tigres.

He spent 2010 with the Beloit Snappers (0-2, 3.35 in 22 G) and Fort Myers Miracle (2-1, 3 Sv, 2.08 in 11 G). He was 0-2 with a 17.05 ERA in three games for the 2010-2011 Tigres. In '11, he was 3-5 with two saves and a 3.82 ERA in 33 games (9 starts) for Fort Myers. Back with them the next year, he had very similar stats at 1-5, 3.80. That ended his time in the Twins chain. He allowed one run in 1 2/3 IP for the 2013-2013 Tigres then resurfaced in 2019-2020 to have a 5.23 ERA in nine outings for the Navegantes del Magallanes.

Coming to France in 2021, he was 2-2 with a 5.70 ERA for the Toulouse Tigers. [2] He was 1-5 with a 6.21 ERA in '22. He tied for third in French Division I in losses. [3] Despite his woes that season, he was put on France's team for the 2022 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers; he did not appear in a game. [4]
