[4] He struggled in Perth as his batting line was .175/.254/.194 in 2018-2019. He recorded a .250/.303/.356 batting line for the Rocky Mountain Vibes in 2019, and he also went 1-for-9 for the San Antonio Missions. He was 0-for-2 against Chinese Taipei, and he was struck out in all three his at-bats versus Japan. In the Bronze Medal Game, Edwards went 1-for-2 with a single against Chun-Wei Chiu, but Chinese Taipei beat them thanks to Tien-Hsin Kuo's walk-off hit.[5]
