Jerry Lundin peaked at AA.
Lundin was named All-Tournament shortstop in the 1970 College World Series. The Minnesota Twins took him in the 16th round of the 1971 amateur draft, but his playing career was marred by two foot injuries which involved broken bones. He hit .294/.386/.422 for the 1971 St. Cloud Rox with 13 steals in 15 tries and 47 runs in 61 games. He was 7th in the Northern League in average, just ahead of Ray Knight. In 1972, Jerry batted .272/.333/.436 for the Orlando Twins. He returned to Orlando in '73 but fell to .199/.318/.306 and ended his career. He later was human resources director for SpanTech LLC.
