Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Jeff Garber was among the leaders in the country in 1988 with 82 runs scored in 56 games for James Madison University. He was drafted in the 10th round of the 1988 amateur draft by the Kansas City Royals, and played in the Royals' system from 1988 to 1995, reaching AAA in 1991, 1994, and 1995.

Garber was a coach for the Spokane Indians in 1996, before become manager of the club the next year. was the Royals' Minor League Field Coordinator in 2007 and the Washington Nationals' Minor League Field Coordinator in 2008. In 2011, he was named the Nationals' minor league infield coordinator.
