Biographical Information[edit]

Je-Andrick Lourens has pitched for the Curaçao national team. It is unclear if he is related to teammate Temesh Lourens.

He was on the Curaçao team that won the 2021 Caribbean Baseball Cup. [1] He was 4-2 with a 6.87 ERA as a college freshman, fanning 50 in 36 2/3 IP. [2] In the 2022 Haarlem Baseball Week, he made one appearance for Curaçao, relieving Nelmerson Angela in the 6th of a major upset of the US collegiate team; his team was up 3-0 when he came in, with Wyatt Langford aboard. He allowed a Jacob Wilson single, threw a run scoring wild pitch, got Brayden Taylor on a fly, balked Wilson in and got Yohandy Morales on a grounder. Alex Rodriguez relieved with a 3-2 lead and held on for the major upset. [3]

Lourens allowed two hits, a walk and two unearned runs in 2 2/3 IP in the 2022 Caribbean Baseball Cup, striking out four, in a game against the US Virgin Islands.
