Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Jayson Drobiak was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the 44th round of the 1999 amateur draft and made his pro debut that year with the Oneonta Tigers. After two years in the Detroit organization, he spent some time in the independent Frontier League with the Springfield Capitals and Rockford Riverhawks. He joined the New York Yankees organization in 2002, and playing for the Battle Creek Yankees the next summer, he led the Midwest League with 30 home runs. Following a stint in the Philadelphia Phillies chain in 2005, he ended his pro career with the Joliet Jackhammers of the independent Northern League in 2006.
