Biographical Information[edit]
Jayson De Aguas spent three seasons in the minor leagues then played for the Colombian national team.
He hit only .086/.274/.155 in 27 games for the 2005 VSL Astros and improved to .252/.357/.278 in 2006, when he was their main first baseman. In '07, he batted .301/.379/.327 as a backup 1B/C for the VSL Astros, ending his minor league career with a .239/.349/.273 batting line, 36 runs and 43 RBI in 119 games.
He played for Colombia when they won Silver in the 2010 South American Games. He helped Colombia to Gold in the 2015 South American Championship. He was 1 for 6 with a walk in the 2015 Pan American Games, splitting catching for Colombia with Jorge Ariza.
