Biographical Information

Infielder Javier Godard played in the Oakland A's chain from 2013-2018, never rising above short season A ball. He batted .226/.302/.302 in 224 games, with 108 runs and 70 RBI. He also pitched twice, going 1-0 with no runs in 2 1/3 IP. He fielded .986 at 2B and .963 at 3B and saw a little action at every position except catcher.

Godard became a coach with the Stockton Ports in 2019. He was scheduled for a hitting coach position with the Beloit Snappers in 2020 before the minor league season was cancelled due to COVID-19. Godard served as hitting coach of the Lansing Lugnuts in 2021-2022 and Midland RockHounds in 2023.

Godard became a manager with the Stockton Ports in 2024.
