Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Jantzen Witte began his professional career in 2013. He was taken by the Boston Red Sox in the 24th round of the 2013 amateur draft; the scout was Gregg Miller.

In his second professional year, 2014, he hit .312/.379/.500 with 12 home runs and 93 RBI in 130 games between the Salem Red Sox and Greenville Drive. In 2016, his first year at Triple A, he hit .258/.327/.361 for the Pawtucket Red Sox; he also batted .359/.458/.538 in 11 games at Double A.

He was a Mid-Season All-Star in 2014 and 2015.
