Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher James Frisbie was an Independent League pitcher from 1998-2001.
In 2003, Frisbie began his managerial career for the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings of the Central Baseball League. Frisbie also had manager jobs in the South Coast League, Pacific Association, Frontier League, American Association and Atlantic League.
In November of 2019, the Lincoln Saltdogs hired Frisbie to be the club's eighth manager, but because the 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Frsbie never managed a game for the Saltdogs.
On March 31, 2021 Frisbie was hired as a left-handed batting practice pitcher for the Detroit Tigers.
