Biographical Information[edit]

Third baseman Jake Daubert played in the minor leagues from 2000 to 2008. He was taken by the Seattle Mariners in the 15th round of the 2000 amateur draft, a few picks ahead of pitcher Kevin Barry, and spent two seasons in their system. He peaked at Single A. From 2002 to 2008, he played in the independent leagues, spending 2002 to partway through 2006 with the Brockton Rox. On May 26, 2008 he was traded from the Bridgeport Bluefish to the York Revolution for outfielder Travis Ezi.

Overall, Daubert slashed .277/.336/.395 with 55 home runs, 439 RBI and 159 doubles in 771 games over 9 seasons.
