Biographical Information[edit]
Jairo Rodriguez was a minor league catcher in the Minnesota Twins organization from 2007-2016, reaching AAA in 2013 for one game with the Rochester Red Wings. For his 10 year minor league career, Rodriguez hit .238/.292/.295 while appearing in 381 games.
After his playing career ended, Rodriguez became a coach, starting with the DSL Twins from 2017-2019. Rodriguez was a hitting coach in 2017 and 2019. He was scheduled to move stateside in 2020 as a GCL Twins hitting coach before COVID-19 shut down the minor league season. Rodriguez was a hitting coach for the Cedar Rapids Kernels in 2021-2022 and helped the Kernels clinch back-to-back postseason berths. He was then hitting coach for the DSL Twins in 2023 before returning to Cedar Rapids in 2024 in the same role.
