Biographical Information[edit]
Jaider Morelos has been on the Colombian national team. His brother is Jair Morelos. [1]
He was born in Colombia and moved to the US when he was 15. [2] He hit .293/.365/.467 for Montreat College in '23 then made Colombia's team for the 2023 Pan American Games. He debuted as a pinch-runner for Leandro Emiliani. He was 0-for-1 with a run in three games, handling two putouts in left. His lone at-bat came against Mexico and he was retired by Edgar Torres. Colombia won Gold, their first Pan American Games Gold in baseball. [3]
