Jack Garson
William G. Garson
Biographical Information[edit]
Jack Garson managed in the minors, though when and for whom is up for debate. Baseball-Reference.com lists him as one of six managers for the San Antonio Missionaries and one of four managers for the Houston Magnolias in 1895. The BR Bullpen suggests he did manage the Magnolias in 1895 (being replaced by W. H. McCormick partway through the year), however one page[1] says it was an individual named "Carson" that managed the club in 1896. The Bullpen merely lists a "Garson" as managing the Missionaries that year. The Bullpen also says he was the initial of two managers for the Houston Buffaloes in 1896, being replaced by Charlie Shaffer.
