Biographical Information[edit]

Itai Spinoza has been on the Israeli national team.

He hit .333/.368/.444 as a CF-P-DH for Israel in the 2021 U18 European Championship, going 0-2 with a 3.38 ERA. His 14 K were second to Paul Schmitz, he led the event in IP (10 2/3) and he tied for the most losses. [1] He allowed nine runs (seven earned) in four innings in college in 2023. He then suited up for Israel in the 2023 European Championship. He started their opener against Switzerland and began by walking Joshua Crouse and hitting Max Jung-Goldberg. He retired Marlins farmhand Noah Williamson, plunked Hayden Jung-Goldberg and got Kyle Williamson to ground into a double play. He allowed one run in four (getting his first K against Livio Bundi) before giving way to David Feins, who got the win. He was roughed up for 3 runs in 1 2/3 IP in a loss to Tomáš Ondra and the Czech national team in the 5th/6th place game. He also played a little outfield in the event, going 0-for-2. [2]
