Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Isaiah Greene was selected by the New York Mets in the 2nd round of the 2020 amateur draft. He signed with the team, but given the shutdown of the minor leagues caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, he was unable to make his professional debut that year and still had no professional record when on January 7, 2021 he was one of four young players traded by the Mets to the Cleveland Indians in return for two front-line major leaguers, SS Francisco Lindor and P Carlos Carrasco. Joining Isaiah in heading to Cleveland were IFs Amed Rosario and Andres Gimenez and P Josh Wolf.
