Biographical Information

Isaac Monrroy has been a minor league pitcher.

Monrroy signed with the New York Mets in 2009; the scouts were Rafael Perez, Ismael Cruz, Luis Marquez and Henry Sandoval. He spent that summer with the VSL Mets, going 1-4 with a save and a 4.50 ERA. In 2010, he improved to 4-2, 1.08 with 3 saves for the DSL Mets 2, with a WHIP under 1. During 2011, he went 3-3 with two saves and a 3.86 ERA for the GCL Mets, striking out 29 in 23 1/3 IP. The Mets released him in July 2012. He was on the Panamanian national team for the 2013 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers but did not appear in a game.
