Biographical Information[edit]
Hyun-jun Lim has pitched in the Korea Baseball Organization.
Lim was a 4th-round pick of the Samsung Lions in 2011. He made his debut that season, going 2-0 with a 3.12 ERA in 29 appearances. In the 2011 Baseball World Cup, he made two appearances. In the first, he retired the final batter to complete a shutout of Australia, replacing starter Hyoun-taek Oh. Against Cuba, though, he took over in the 4th with a scoreless tie and gave up a one-out single to Alfredo Despaigne then a losing homer to Yulieski Gourriel before being yanked in favor of Jin-woo Im. He wound up with South Korea's second-worst ERA of the Cup, ahead of only Ji-woong Yoon. He did not pitch in the KBO in 2012.
