Hsin-Min Wang played in the Taiwanese national team and the CPBL.
Wang was drafted by the China Trust Whales in the fourth round of the 2003 CPBL Draft. He was 1 for 6 with four strikeouts and a solo homer for Taiwan in the 2004 Haarlem Baseball Week. Wang hit .250/.261/.432 as a backup in 2004. In 2005, he batted .243/.277/.379. Wang had his big year in 2006, producing at a .346/.379/.429 rate and winning Best Ten honors at catcher. He fell to .254/.337/.362 in 2007 but rebounded to .292/.334/.382 in 2008. When the Whales folded due to a gambling scandal, Wang was left without a team.
The Taitung joined the Taiwan national team for the 2009 World Port Tournament, hitting .333/.353/.400. He remained with Taiwan in the 2009 Asian Championship. The Sinon Bulls then signed him, and Wang hit .310/.378/.401 in 2010. He had a .267/.313/.267 batting line in the 2010 Taiwan Series, but the Bulls were swept by the Brother Elephants. Wang recorded a .267/.341/.340 batting line in 2011, then he hit .301/.341/.379 in 2012. After missing the 2013 season due to injuries, Wang announced his retirement and became a coach. He was the battery coach for the EDA Rhinos in 2014, and he became the coach of National Taitung University in 2015.
Overall, Wang hit .290/.342/.379 with 427 hits, 70 doubles and 18 homers in 8 seasons in the CPBL.
